Went to this supperclub-esque resto last year with a girlfriend (photographer of all following photos.)  I love going to places that just have fun with food, and create dishes with humor.  Restaurants that take food too seriously are no walk in the park.  Sometimes it is appropriate to go to a place like that, and sometimes after a long day, you’d rather go to a place where you don’t have to worry about laughing too loudly or using the wrong dinnerware. 

I’d probably get murdered by uber-foodies for using this word to describe the dishes, but how cute! Braised pork lollipops in the centre, the infamous gnocchi poutine on the right, and sliders in the background.  Sliders weren’t anything special, but they had me at poutine.  Continued…
